Great Books to Have at Home |
Children's literature
can motivate preschoolers to want to read. A literacy-rich
environment that offers choices of reading materials would
include alphabet books, picture storybooks (both predictable
and realistic), poetry, traditional literature, informational
books (including menus, signs, cards, recipes, etc.) and children's
magazines. A few preschool-age favorites are listed below.
